Ray Mallock’s racing cars have graced dozens of club meetings every single year for decades. In fact, the man himself is still gracing historic racing himself, with his Formula Junior making a world tour over the last few years – something I was asked to celebrate in a commission by his son, Michael, in 2021. The brief was to take a classic photo of the car in action and produce a vintage feel. I framed the whole car in the globe to cement the World Tour element.
